Dear Colleague,

in lieu of formal intro: I'm with the faculty of the Department of Computer Science, University of Manitoba. My research interests include Extreme Programming (XP), among other things, and I'm currently looking into the factors that may facilitate or impede adoption of XP. To that end, I've created a small online survey to help me gather opinions about it. The survey can be found at

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=991421110456

It is anonymous (there should be no cookies left on your computer), and its current summary can be seen at

http://www.surveymonkey.com/Report.asp?U=111045651203

while the research papers resulting from the survey will be posted at a later time.

Any comments you might have about the survey or XP itself would be more than welcome. When one works too long in academia, it's easy to lose touch with the real world, and any kind of reality check is an enormous help.

Also, feel free to share the link with other people who are involved in software development - programmers, analysts, programming (team) leaders, managers, and, last but not least, customers that define, approve, or validate requirements for a software product.

Thank you very much for reading this far, your patience and cooperation is highly appreciated.

With best regards,

Dr Vojislav B. Misic
